This gallery contains pictures taken during a RIFA Candidates (Under-18) match played against Southville School at the De La Salle Zobel field in Alabang. Southville was comprehensively beaten, 5-nil; but the real story of this match was that it was played under torrential rain. There was a storm cutting through Luzon and the alert level was Signal Number One.
Still, the referee was aware of the expenses involved for both teams to have made the trip and decided to allow the match to be played. Under other circumstances, the match would not have pushed through at all because the ball was getting stuck in puddles all over the field.
