The pictures in this gallery are scans of original printed photos from the Southern Tagalog Regional Athletic Association (STRAA) campaign of 1988 in Calapan, Mindoro, of which we were champions; along with the abortive Palarong Pambansa in Cagayan de Oro City where we never got started.
The team was eliminated after losing its second straight match due in no small measure to a glaring offside non-call when the assistant referee was having a conversation with a passer-by.
This is why many of the pictures in the gallery were taken up at the Del Monte plantation up in neighboring Bukidnon, where the team was hosted by the family of player Sonny Cruz. That visit was notable for a partial solar eclipse which turned the mid-morning almost into evening.
Also in the gallery are a few pictures taken during the successful defence of the STRAA title on home soil; albeit we did not participate in the Palarong Pambansa held in Lucena City later in the year.
